Haketia: A Memoir of Judeo-Spanish Language and Culture
in Morocco

Haketia is a Judeo-Spanish-Arabic language spoken by the Jewish community of northern Morocco. This book explains the language, and it includes a dictionary as well as popular sayings, refrains, nicknames, blessings and curses, and songs. The author also describes briefly the cultural context of the use of the language.

Anthology of
The New Mexico Jewish Link

This anthology will be published in collaboration with The Jewish Federation of New Mexico, and it will review its forty years as the newspaper of the Jewish community of Albuquerque and the state of New Mexico. The various editors of The Link over these four decades are compiling the articles to be included, each from their own time period, starting with the founding editor Shlomo Karni, Stephanie Spinks, Tema Millstein, Rebeca Zimmermann and Susan Abonyi. According to Prof. Karni, "This book will trace the evolution of The Link and of the Jewish community during these years..."
